Community Tasting Notes 2

November 20, 2020 - Delicious and a little weird. Doesn't seem like a zinfandel at all -- the owner said "old Barolo", and that's spot on. Florals, cranberries, some tar, quite bright with some lifted notes. A little disjointed and rustic at this point, but very interesting, even unique, and of course it is a unicorn wine at this point.

November 14, 2020 - Orange-ish bricking color, ample volatility, zingy acids, dried raspberry, lots of red zinger tea, iodine...is this Zinfandel or very old Barolo??? While this might be cracking up a bit, it's sill an interesting drink and wacky old piece of American wine history.
