  March 25, 2024 - Raw black fruit, still tannic, tar, lead, dry leaves. Enjoyed the bottle a lot. Wanted to love the bottle. Didn’t necessarily come up short or disappoint but lacked any elements of memorable to my taste. Paired really well with grilled steaks. Would love to try another vintage younger at say 6-8 years bottle age as well as 20 yrs.

  February 25, 2024 - Nez iodé, cuir et fruit noir.
  Les tanins sont fondus, il paraissait même un peu mou à l’ouverture, mais l’aération lui a redonné sa vigueur civilisée.
  C’est bien équilibré, harmonieux, mais un peu terne dans son expression aromatique. Il ne faut pas craindre de l’aérer car 4 heures après l’ouverture, le dernier verre était le meilleur. 90 pts

  September 2, 2023 - Last bottle of a case we bought 10 years ago. It sure has been an enjoyable experience tasting how this wine has evolved since 2013. We buy this wine every vintage now but this was the first vintage. Overall consistent with past notes but might be a little over the hump. That said, it should still be enjoyable for another 5-10 years. We usually always pair this with rich food but drank this last bottle stand-alone to take it all in. Just a very distinctive and elegant vintage that is well-made. Drink 2023-2028. Technical score: 91. Enjoyment score: 93.

  April 14, 2023 - quite young but it has evolved somewhat. The 2008-2010 are richer and rounder in the mouth than the 1998-2002.
