November 7, 2023 - Ruby with a garnet rim. Forward raspberry and strawberry, sweet spices, perhaps cinnamon, a hint of sandalwood and wet leaves. Broad and ripe on the palate, tannins fully resolved, and the long finish has excellent saturation. Excellent 21 year old bottle.

March 9, 2020 - Fairly robust black cherry and berry on nose and palate and Asian five spice. Started very fresh for its age, then more earth and leather emerged over the next few hours. Probably best once open 30-60 minutes, but drinking well all evening.
