October 19, 2008 - Medium ruby, pale garnet rim. Not much to speak of on the nose, light intensity raspberry fruit, a whiff of orange rind. Medium bodied on the palate, moderate intensity raspberry fruit dying away quickly on a short length tannic finish. This has only gone downhill since last tasted two years ago and I can't see much future in it. Ordinary.

Moderately intense nose with spice, some forest floor and underlying raspberry fruit.
On the palate this has light/medium intensity raspberry fruit with some spice and forest floor. A little dilute in truth with noticeable, but fine tannins and a short/medium length finish. Even the acidity is a little muted.
Pleasant enough now, I can't see that this has the structure or depth to go anywhere from here. Then again,with burgundy, there are no certainties!
