January 24, 2024 - This bottle had an alluring nose of ripe red and black fruit, violets and spices. There was transparency and purity to the medium weight palate that had good acidity and fine tannins on the bitter-inflected finish. Enjoyable and at peak drinking.

April 16, 2022 - Minimal peach rim. Tepid nose of red fruit and faint white flowers. Palate of red fruit, short, lacking depth. Finish is smooth. Medium/low acidity. Probably peaked. Drink now.

April 7, 2020 - The poorest 2009 Burgundy that I have had in the past couple years. These should be drinking very well and they are tepid on the nose and flat on the palate. There is some floral tones that were interesting throughout. Very hit or miss with this producer...but seems mostly miss.

February 6, 2020 - As expected, a few more years have done great things for this wine. It's now rounded, with an admirable purity of (red) fruit, good acidity and an underlying hint of earthiness. It has medium body and overall drinks very well for a humble Bourgogne rouge.

March 25, 2019 - Tasty red berries and hint of earthy notes on the nose and palate with sour cherries on the moderate finish. Hitting above it's class!

-nearly semi-translucent vivid dark red, mild edge clearing
    -faint black fruit wet stone
-med acidity manifests with tangy note on finish, med- weight and concentration straight-forward earthy raspberry and black fruit liqueur builds throughout mid-palate and persists through the rather long finish
-nice acidity for the vintage, persistence is impressive for a Bougogne, drinking very well now, no hurry

March 5, 2017 - This wine is under-whelming. It's a little too sour for me and tart. It's an 88 and not a point above.

November 9, 2016 - Neither here nor there. Lacking the barnyard funk typical of Burgundy, and very linear and simple. Sour cherries and red fruits, but not much. Quite austere. Acidity is high. Feeling the heat on the backend. Not the most enjoyable drink.
