November 5, 2018 - Bit of tart on entry, with nice dark Chambolle fruit, medium tooth-gripping tannins there. Very nice and for me, punches above its’ weight for a villages wine. Good to drink now, but should hold up for years. Have it with roast chicken or something savory on a cold winter’s night.

    November 9, 2015 - Color: medium red
    Nose: very tight,
Palate: very shut, light bodied, quite disappointing, if you have this do not open it now, is this an off bottle or shut down?

Smells of earth, game, and a mix of red & blue stone fruits.
Tastes of elegant red stone fruit that matures into deep red and black fruits balanced against an earthy minerality. More Gevrey in character than Chambolle.
    Full Bodied.

Smells of oak, suitcase, leather, mildew, & a stale subway station. Tastes of heavy oak with buried fruits. Lots of acid, too. Not our favorite on its own, but it did pair well with our rosemary glaze. Medium-full bodied

September 15, 2013 - Deep red. A fresh, bright nose with lovely red pinot fruit, violets and gentle stone. In the mouth, the wine has a lovely silky salinity. The black and blue fruits are framed by nicely integrated minerals. Good length to the finish. Clearly Chambolle in character. The wine brings to mind Tiffany stained glass. Very nice village wine. Very nice.

March 9, 2013 - La Paulée de New York Grand Tasting (Metropolitan Pavilion - New York NY): Tasting. Soft and charming red fruit. Good red cherry flavors, very nice textures with good Chambolle-styled iron minerality. On the simpler side, but very good at its level.
