July 16, 2016 - My first 2010. Gorgeous and beautiful are the first thoughts that come ti mind. Delicate dark red fruits. Intense nose. Lovely palate with an almost imperceptible touch of fizz that gives it energy. Was beautiful right out of the gate...went through a strange dark fruited oaky phase after 2-3 hours, then emerged with more elegance. Should be long lived for a villages wine.

June 16, 2016 - This is brilliant! Scents of forest floor, mushroom, fresh raspberries, and a hint of white pepper as the scents start to recede. In the mouth this is full of flavor and has a ton of vibrant red fruit notes with raspberries dominating with hints of leather and spices lingering on the palate. Outstanding!!

May 22, 2016 - Very delicious, on pop and pour, great fruit, easy to drink, very fully fruited.

February 27, 2016 - Catching up on some overdue notes - this was served as part of a 4 wine Burgundy flight where it was preceded by a 2005 Girardin Gevrey Chambertin VV, and Fourrier blew it out of the water as was to be expected. The Fourrier has changed from its wildly exuberant youth, as there is a darker profile now, without the almost carbonic sweet fruit. It is more stately, more Gevrey. What has not changed is the purity. From first sniff through the finish there is nothing to distract from the unvarnished soul of Burgundian Pinot Noir. When I first opened the bottle the aromatics were heavenly, though they did close in a bit after a few hours of air, so perhaps it's time to leave the wine alone for a while so that it can enter the second act. Either way, it was still a delicious bottle, just not quite as expressive as it was in the first half hour.

February 7, 2016 - Very nice red cherries and berries after an hour of breathing, and develop some dark fruits and violets in a few hours. Good structure and well balanced.
2010 is a very good vintage and this wine perform very well as a village wine.
Can drink or keep for further developing. Recommended!
