August 17, 2014 - Light golden yellow, clear.
A certain richness on the nose, but also with a subtle green streak. Butter! But also fruit freshness (pineapple?). Weird, in a sense, and not quite to my liking. Especially on day two, I thought the weirdness was due to the oak.
On the palate it is weightless, with beautiful tension. It has a texture of fine sand (again tannins from the oak?). Slightly bitter touch on the finish, which is all on lemon zest. Quite long.
I did not completely enjoy it now, but if the oak integrates well (meaning: the nose finds its balance and the tannins soften) it might become very nice.

August 3, 2014 - Light yellow. Nose opens with fresh cut pear, also chalk/saline, apple, citrus, floral. Palate has medium fruit with an acidity that builds towards tartness, but is headed off by sweet-fruit midpalate which remains until finish. Well poised, lean, mineral and balanced. Had on the deck with pan seared/sauteed red snapper - we both though this was a great match and a terrific village wine.

May 10, 2014 - Pale, thick yellow colour. Palate of sharply defined acidity and tart lemons initially. With time, the lemons, whilst remaining sharply acidic, also became somehow sugared! A bit disjointed at this stage.
