October 14, 2023 - Nose - sous bois , complex, lots going on, hints of baking spice
Mouth - also quite complex - fresh strawberries but also dried fruits, spibebox, sweet tannins, and drinks in a way like an infusion or a tea. Stemmy wine so probably should give it even more time. Maybe ten years. Very drinkable at present but I think this wine has a whole other story to tell in due time. -

July 3, 2023 - Opened 3 hours prior to tasting blind. Lightest color inthe flight but lovely spicy red fruited nose. Surprisingly full on the palate and a very long finish. More intensity and defining acidity than the Jadot. My best Burgundy of the flight.

December 19, 2022 - Man did I love this wine. So I’m sitting on a pretty good amount of Burgundy that I am patiently waiting to mature-I love mature Burgundy and thank the light for champagne. Well I had a hankering, so carefully chose this bottle. It was just perfect. 13 years old, and this really good parts of Suchots, was just singing Vosne… I got pretty light red cherry and wild strawberry, and a trove of baking spices. This very surefooted wine light and balanced on the attack and swallow. Thoughts like lovely, charming, Christmas spices, gravel bed, bright red fruit, came to mind. I cannot believe how excellent this was!

September 23, 2021 - This needed some air but was quite approachable. This was silky smooth with fine grain tannins and a Lucious structure. Could potentially get better with more cellar time.

May 15, 2021 - Vosne + Flannery (Chicago): Nicely expressive and complete, like many 2010s, with pronounced spice. Structure is still notable and as such this shows a little angular and firm on the mid-palate. Stuffing and balance to age gracefully. Should hit a peak drinking window in 3-5 years.
