December 3, 2022 - Deep and dark, more "bass" tones and good cave-y earthy juicy fruit.

November 26, 2021 - Medium ruby. Nose opened up right away. Everything in balance and drinking well now.

April 13, 2020 - Medium to light ruby, nice floral nose. Tannins seem mostly resolved but the wine is balanced with a long elegant finish. Delicious now and will hold.

October 7, 2019 - Terroir-istes International - France, Burgundy, Esmonin (Overgaauw Wine Estate): (Tasted Blind): A light+ ruby hue with an initial struck match note that quickly dissipates.
A captivating array of aromas with pomegranate, liquorice, toasty oak, red cherry and dried red flowers, roses and more. The entry is deep and mesmerizing, drawing you in with its abundance of fruit and showing remarkable power and elegance. A fresh, lively acidity with fine-grained filigree tannins adds a velvety texture whilst generous oak spices and a hint of cool mint weave through the layers of fruit. Extraordinary depth of flavour - very 3 dimensional. An extended finish with lingering oak interplays with a chalky element. This is a seriously classy wine. Wow!
