December 6, 2014 - I was fortunate enough to acquire a whole case of this almost a year ago at a wine auction. I first opened a bottle last night and found it is really fantastic with a pleasingly bold nose crossing between pepper and over-ripe plums, falls on the tonque with a really pleasing surprise, and throws back to a great finish! Okay, so I'm pretty nuts about it, now the question I need help in answering: How long will it cellar? I've still got 10 bottles (I foolishly gave one as a gift), and I want to prolong the pleasure as long as possible! How long?1 person found this helpful Comments (1)

November 11, 2014 - This wine is singing right now. Not technically sophisticated I suppose, but this is a beautiful wine, lush and decedent. We were enjoying it too much to analyze the wine, but it is full bodied and fruit forward, like an Italian woman, delicious and yummy, you want to keep going back for another taste.

October 1, 2014 - Better the next day. Also better with food. Had with Itanian.

June 27, 2014 - A year makes a difference (at least to me); everything that you are seeking, color, nose, depth of fruit, and finally the linger on the tongue. And no, you can't ask me why I don't more...

June 16, 2014 - - Aromas of black pepper and blackberry. It's in total harmony with a full body. Polished texture with a long finish - Really flavorful. Let it breathe in decanter for n hour. Improved over the next hour. Amazing nose on the wine. Strong berry flavor. A great example of a well made amarone. I have one more and can't wait for the occasion to pop it.2 people found this helpful Comment
