Now just as oxidised as before but much faded so rather unpleasant!
April 15, 2014 - Decant always. Has lees, but also really benefits from the opening of the wine, which is great and probably will carry on improving over next few years
The wine looks yellow colored. The legs are medium. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like lemon, melon and hay/straw. The body is medium/full. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity.

December 9, 2013 - This bottle did not seem to have as much body s the previous. Still a wonderful complex nose, with marzipan and liquorice. Not as much fun as the chenins we had around it though. Don´t hold on too much longer.
February 19, 2012 - Wonderful wine. Drank it over 3 days and it showed no signs of slowing down. Complex with notes of orange peel and hazelnuts and very satisfying. Can imagine this would be very good with food. Hold it and let it get better.
October 27, 2011 - A quite unique wine bristling with flavors, one of which is a little dangerous. A ciderised/oxidative note appears after air or with warmth.
Terrific, but treat with care and serve with food.
A: light straw, no sign of maturity
N: Honeyed and grass but shows that unpleasant cider note when it warms.
P: Off-dry entry, medium bodied, medium-high acid. Brisk finish with lingering sweetness
May 15, 2011 - Distinctive nose with some sherry/oxidised notes. (worried about condition briefly)
Complex and layered flavours of honey and nuts. Medium acidity.

December 29, 2010 - needs carafing - takes time to open itself - then great body and multiple aromas - should be drank now
February 14, 2009 - Gold color, apricot on the nose. Full across the palate, gorgeous oak, perfectly ripe fruit and a lovely minerality. So much complexity and yet still balanced. Might get better but drinking so well now, not a lot of acidity in this vintage. Was best at low room temp.
January 25, 2009 - Savoury and mineral. Will be very fine.
