March 16, 2024 - Had at least 3 hours of air before tasting, still super concentrated and present, black fruits, cherried red fruit, cedar, herbs. Nice finish and great balance.

December 31, 2023 - Purchased on release from the winery. Temperature controlled cellar since release. Decanted for two hours. Deep color with no bricking. Eucalyptus, black currant, dark fruits, tobacco, and cedar. Very concentrated. Continued to open up over two hours. Easily a decade more of life ahead of it.

On the palate, there were still decent but integrated tannins. Really nice structure to this wine. Flavors of medicinal cherry, some stewed fruits, mushroom. A delicious wine, and for my palate, the perfect time to drink. I called a 20+ year old left bank bordeaux. My favorite wine of the night.

June 25, 2023 - Liquefied graphite, leather, plum, dried herbs, bay leaf; medium body; medium fine tannin; medium+ acidity
Overall thoughts: A pretty great Cab, but not as good or distinct as I'd expect from this producer and vineyard.
