  June 4, 2011 - As others have noted, it was a surprise that this is still a good wine. A little thick from the age. The color was a very nice straw - looked much younger than it was. Apple and caramel as others have noted plus some grassiness. A good deal of acidity giving it structure.

  February 12, 2011 - Who would expect this? Aging beautifully. Still has abundant fruit, some acidity, and the apple/caramel flavors described by others.
