Mild Plaid Likes this wine: 90 points
November 5, 2014 - Pours a very dark purple; initial pour at least was free of sediment. Nose was very mild, with just a touch of black fruits at the end. Flavor is rich blackberry jam and stewed cherries. Tannins are mild and integrated, moutfeel is on the heavy end of medium. Finish isn't super-long, but does hold on reasonably.
I may be opening this a little early, but it certainly isn't bad. -

December 7, 2013 - Very dark purple. Mild nose of dark fruits; flavors were again almost entirely dark fruits (blackberry, plum). Body was medium-to-full, with some drop-off in the middle portion. Excellent value.

July 10, 2013 - Smells and tastes great but drops off fairly quickly and shows the twangy metallic element that so many New World Ports of Port-like wines do. For $17 its a good value though. Would work well with medium-dark chocolate.
