February 23, 2013 - A basic Rioja. Good for a cocktail party-with snacks or cheese.

April 14, 2012 - Do not remember buying this wine. Must have been a house gift from a party. Very deep burgundy with a bit of heaviness in the glass. Drank over a couple of days. The nose was very high alcohol with some berries and green pepper. The palette was completely different which is nice. There were tastes of bright cherry, berries and vanilla along with a hint of black licorice. The wine is dry with tannins in the medium range.
