January 31, 2024 - Decanted 3 hours. This has evolved to the next phase. Next bottle will get less air. Some fruit, however not much left. Smooth. Long finish.

December 1, 2022 - PnP with 10 minute wait in glass. Equally good on night 2 after air pumped. Recent tasting notes are spot on. Nothing more to add other than it’s in a sweet spot now, lots of life left but no reason to wait.

November 6, 2022 - Double decanted, contained little sediment, at its best 4 hours after opening. Some black berries are left upon opening, the very pleasant balanced secondary and tertiary flavours, all tannins are well integrated, very smooth and silky, intens and long after flavours.

June 24, 2022 - Secundair notes. Reminds me of Pegau C9dP. P&P. Drinking very well at this stage. Fully mature. Nice garrique, Llicorella, some sweetness. Dried herbs, Very nice clean wine.

June 22, 2022 - This is a conservative 93 for me.
Popped and poured; allowed to sit for 30 minutes.
Nose offers up lots of red and black fruit; this is more on the red side of things. Raspberry leaf, gravel, bay leaf, crushed fennel seed. This smells a bit 'hot' but it's definitely evolving quite quickly in the glass with time.
On the palate there's still some grip, this isn't fully integrated tannin-wise, but it's getting there. This is harmonious with the nose - i.e., pretty similarly follows. Another 2-5 years and this should be prime time. I'm really enjoying the concentration and grip here.
I think this could be a 94 pt. wine soon enough. Paid $40 - this is an absolute QPR monster.1 person found this helpful Comment
