August 5, 2017 - APPEARANCE: Nice bubbles with a dark yellow hue. Golden almost
    AROMA: Toasted bread
TASTE: Very smooth and enjoyable. Notes of custardNeed to purchase more Late Disgorged bottles in the future. Have thoroughly enjoyed every LD bottle I've had from Schramsberg

March 18, 2017 - Granny Smith Apple, pineapple, california sunshine, a good amount of yeastiness and creaminess, long finish. Delicious, but I hit palate fatigue after one glass, ideally for me this would be toned down a notch

December 31, 2015 - Surprisingly bright and crisp given its extended aging time in both barrel and bottle. Tart, green apple dominates making this a very food-friendly option. At $80 retail it's not a great value, but certainly an enjoyable sparkler, especially if you're fond of chardonnay-based, California interpretations.

February 22, 2015 - Super delicious!!! Green apple right from the open, evolving into candied pineapple.

June 22, 2014 - PnP chilled. Large, then small bubble size, heavy then light stream. Light golden/straw color. Toast/yeast nose. Med tart fruit, green apple, strong yeast. At or just over peak drinking window. Served with Rainer cherry's, strawberries, red apples. Nothing off but yeast influence more pronounced than 6 months ago. Drink by 2016.

June 21, 2014 - Pop and pour. Nice light golden straw color. Bubbles medium, becoming smaller. Toasty, yeasty nose. Strong fruit - green apple. Strong yeast, but not over the top. Medium tart/acid. We really enjoyed this on the deck with some fresh Ranier cherries, apples, strawberries.

April 14, 2014 - One of the best schramsberg's I've had & that's saying a lot. Rich round full w layers & layers of flavors. Green apple & candied/dried pineapple w yeast & nutty flavors. Some of the incredible flavor profile may be its age as a 2001 vintage. Not sure it will continue to improve. Wow.

December 31, 2013 - So complex with wonderful yeast and lively bubbles. Absolutely stellar - will put this up against anything from France. Nice way to ring in the New Year.

November 11, 2013 - In a wide group of tasters and tastes, this was uniformly well received. Very brisk, clean and refreshing with a preciseness and focus that was impressive. Fresh green apples with a nice tartness covered with a reserved touch of honey.

November 4, 2013 - P/well chilled. Very robust/tiny/long bubble stream. The best bottle of "150" tried so far. Intense fruit, tart, clearly Chard, toast, green apples, slight yeast. Great balance, clean long finish. Will age yet for many years. Tremendous wine. Nothing off. Gift.
