September 17, 2023 - Popped and poured. The wine has aged wonderfully . Still showing some fruit that helps add to the complexity of the tannins that have mellowed through the years. Definitely needs to be consumed soon, but was pleasantly surprised by the structure of the wine and how it has held together .

June 19, 2023 - Needed about a half hour of decanting but after that a very balanced nice California Cabernet -black fruit and a bit of vanilla. Decent finish. Drinking perfectly right now. Suspect the fruit may not hold up much longer. Drink in the next year or two.

August 31, 2022 - Has evolved perfectly- almost no tannin now, blackberry cobbler, dusty graphite, still good balance and acidity and plenty of time left. Moderate finish.

March 27, 2020 - Bought from the vineyard in 2010; temperature controlled storage until yesterday. Poured, some age color showed (slight touch of rust, otherwise perfecct); almost no bouquet. No initial taste. Put aside for 90 minutes and it opened. continued to evolve for a 2+ hours. Drank very nicely. Smooth, touch of vanilla, Montmorency cherry and little citrus on the palate, slight tannic on the backend. Sediment almost nonexistent. Very enjoyable.
