March 9, 2024 - Beautiful wine with slight bricking. Nose of cedar wood with some flowery notes. Very well integrated and balanced with some bright red fruit in the darker plum base. Surprisingly vivid classic Bordeaux feel and freshness. Soft and long finish. In its window.
April 13, 2022 - decanted, some sediment.
Great Bx. Could last A few years still.
January 28, 2022 - An easy afternoon with close friends (@ My place): Beautiful bouquet with oak, vanilla and a lot of sweet spices. On the palate a lot of vanilla, green herbs, lead pencil, ink and mineral impressions. Good acidity, tannin and bitterness. 90 - 91
January 23, 2021 - Two glasses on Friday, the wine even better (better food) on Saturday.
Still tannin for drinking this year.
Very nice Medoc.
December 13, 2020 - Good taste and smell. Yet, not as strong as I would have expected : flavors start to vanish, do not wait much longer (consumed Dec 2020).
December 5, 2020 - Good taste and smell. Yet, not as strong as I would have expected : flavors start to vanish, do not wait much longer (consumed Dec 2020).
October 25, 2019 - D1h. Classic Medoc without the extra level to be expected in a GCC Pauillac. Drink now - 2025. Overpriced
December 31, 2016 - DnP. Dark red, red rim, 5.5. Discrete classic Medoc nose, pencil. Rather firm palate, tannin, fruit is hidden right now. Wait until 2020
December 30, 2016 - Let it breathe a bit, and bouquet will improve. Excellent bouquet with many nuances to enjoy. Gigondas alike bouquet.
Still long aftertaste and tannin present. The harshness will disappear.
Buy again for 200 Dkr.
December 14, 2016 - A decent bottle. Clear purple colour. Notes of cherry and cigar box. Still a little tannic - earthy; touch of jammy berries on the palate; long finish but a bit harsh. Likeable, but definitely not outstanding. Drink now or hold for 2-3 years.
