January 27, 2021 - Crimson in color but showing some age as it runs out to the rim. A gorgeous nose roses and cherries with some forest floor after some time in the glass. The palate was still fresh and balanced with dried roses and mushrooms.

This was lovely and aging gracefully!

August 21, 2019 - The last of my Littorai. This wine was superb. Excellent balance between the crisp red fruit and the acid, round bodied with a medium to long finish. After dinner we savored the last glass - wistfully!

March 23, 2019 - An excellent wine well balanced with fruit and acid. Bright, light red cherry, strawberry and floral overtones made this stunning wine a pleasure to drink. Medium bodied with a medium finish.

February 23, 2019 - Served with chicken Marsala and risotto. The acid and soft red fruit balanced perfectly with the richness of the meal.

September 1, 2018 - In a line up of Burgundies and Germans, this stood out as being clearly New World. Holding up well and a wonderful glass, but not with tve elegance of the Europeans

December 23, 2017 - Beautiful and expressive wine. Littoral need a few more years than most California Pinot to really unfold and show depth of flavors. This wine is exceptionally well balanced. Great fruit, just to the darker side of kirsch with wonderful tannins supporting, garrique and loam. We had over three hours without food, and I’d say the wine is a bit acidic, causing a bit of heartburn. Definitely a good wine.
