March 25, 2012 - Sonoma Wine Tasting & San Francisco - March 2012; 3/22/2012-3/27/2012: This viognier is a tropical explosion of aromas: honeysuckle, pear and pineapple. The palate is much different, quite linear in its approach, with a strong clover honey flavor, along with a distinct note of grass. It's thick, with honey and wax on the finish. The alcohol might bother some, but I enjoyed the density of this viognier.
