  November 25, 2023 - For a bottle I paid $25 for 13 years ago, this is surprisingly good. Black fruit, viscous, good acidity, no tannin, fairly long finish and an interesting spice that I can’t put my finger on.
  
  Having this with a marinated flank steak and grilled peppers and onions. That feels like it could be Argentinian food…
  
  My wife has a much better palette than I do. I’ll ask for her opinion at dinner.

  November 1, 2023 - Very similar comments to October last year.
  Maybe a little less dark fruit and more earthy.
  Still drinking well, final bottle.

  October 3, 2022 - Deep ruby going on garnet.
  Still some black fruits on the nose with aniseed & raisins.
  Medium/full bodied, beautifully balanced with long finish
  Surprisingly still a lot of fruits on the palate, with a hint of sweetness and a savoury edge.
  Penultimate bottle and I think that this is (again surprisingly) better than in January 2021.

  January 1, 2021 - A year since last tasted.
  Dark ruby.
  Black fruits, peppers,, spice, vanilla nose.
  Full bodied, well integrated tannins,
  Blackberries, liquorice, chocolate palate.
  Very good wine which I still believe will drink well for at least another 2/3 years, 3 bottles left, will try again later this year or early next year.

  January 5, 2020 - This is still drinking really well, plums, elderflower, smooth, medium/full bodied.
