April 5, 2015 - Pinot noir extravaganza (Stockholm, Sweden): From afar: Neither a Bgn nor a PN. Brought this btl as I was afraid that too many watery, ballerina, Project Runway wines would make me crave for a real wine. And THIS, ladies and gentlemen, is a real wine!
Dark-fruited with slight vegetal/star-fruit CF-character. It is SA-tannic with distinct aromas from inside of a fabric store, of CF and a generous climate.
This is a love-affair in a bottle.

March 22, 2015 - If you like CF, you'll LOVE this wine! Superbly concentrated with youthful layers of fruit and very fine vegetal expressions. This is becoming a really fine and very grape-typical wine of distinction.
9 btls to go, next one in 2016.
Unfortunately, only decanted for sediment at home and then immediately brought to the restaurant.
Tannins M+, acids M++, M+ body.
Rich aroma palette dominated by peeman, star fruit and paprika. Long, elevated, concentrated, typical for the grape and absolutely, positively promising great things for the future. I really love this wine, wife prefers other expressions of this grape, as in Le Macchiole's Paleo and other Washingtonians.
Wife: slightly sweet for her taste and thought it more towards CdP in expression: 90p.
At over performing Italian restaurant: Bisi-Basi in Maita, Yokohama.

August 23, 2014 - Really enjoyed this wine. Short decant but still big fruit on the nose. Lots of purple blue fruit on the palate and great mouthfeel and finish. Wish I had more.

March 29, 2014 - This is a fantastic Cab Franc. Was clearly still too early when the cork was popped so we decanted it. After an hour, the nose of ripe red and black fruit, violets, and spices became evident. After 2 hours, it had really opened up and was extremely impressive with its balance, complexity, and length. Because it's still so young, there was much more fruit than leather, but it was a fantastic bottle and one that will only get better with a few more years. I'm looking forward to trying it again with another bottle in a year or two. Highly recommended.1 person found this helpful Comment

March 15, 2014 - My wife and I have become huge fans of WA cab franc and Sheridan does it very well. It took a while to open fully, but certainly worth the wait. Deep aroma of fruit to start, well balanced and good acidity. Great with food.
