March 16, 2018 - Still drinking well. A bit lighter bodied with more minerality & citrus than the 2012.
October 10, 2017 - Really nice, well-balanced SB with good acidity, minerality, & fruit. Still drinking well, but don't hold any longer. Paired well with pan-fried shishito peppers.
September 26, 2017 - Drank like an older Bordeaux. Acidity is starting to fade while more a creaminess start to appear. It has aged/developed nicely in the bottle.
May 10, 2014 - Great value SB. Mint, floral, and grassy notes on the nose. Juniper berries on the palate.
March 29, 2014 - Equally good but a bit less of the ocean-y taste from my last bottle. Yum.
March 11, 2014 - Not as good as previous bottle.
January 19, 2014 - Very interesting, in a good way. Thicker mouthfeel, slightly saline/fishy taste (but not bad). Herbal, some fruit. Fun.
December 31, 2013 - Big nose with tropical fruit, grapefruit and beeswax aromas. Palate is medium body with more body than a typical SB. Round, sunny fruit is supported by medium juicy acidity. This is a bigger SB - night lean and racy - but fruity and fresh. Packs a delicious flavorful punch. Good in a non-typical style.
September 29, 2013 - Not quite as fresh as a year ago but still enjoyable. Notes very similar to those from my previous bottle but there's more of a salinity aspect and the wood aging shows a bit more prominently. Drink now.
September 19, 2013 - Fuller bodied. Excellent complexity. A complex white with a lot to think about.
