  December 30, 2014 - aroma - nice earth, jam, blackberry, cardamom; taste - easy and smooth, with creamy leathery tannins and good dried fruits, little wood

  December 2, 2014 - Pours a thin ruby color. Aroma - some fungus on the nose, a little red fruit, but it is not very pleasant. Taste - weird, somewhat metallic aftertaste. Again, not really good - maybe flawed. We will see with 2nd bottle.

  September 1, 2013 - This was better on the third day than after opening. It also really excels with food, even more than most wines do. Without food it is an 88-89 point wine; with food, 90. Let it breathe; it improves with air.

  June 11, 2013 - Special! Excellent quality for the price. Very impressive for a Carignan bottling. It is substantive, chewy, and tastes great. The hallmark of a great wine is the finish, and this offering features one that is protracted and complex.
