August 24, 2021 - Golden in color. Nose of caramel, lemon meringue, honey, almond paste, and orange blossom. Tart green apple on entry but smooth finish.

May 8, 2020 - Dark golden; almost a hint of brown. Nose is sweet caramel, orange blossom, and candied lime. Smooth on entry and builds mid-palate, and finishes with lingering tartness. Rich and viscous with Zestar apple flavor. Liquid gold.

May 6, 2018 - Tight bubbles that last. Yeasty on the nose with a little bit of apple/pear. Green apple throughout. Nice acidity but with some tartness running through too. Paired very well with the South Dakota state grand champion bacon.

June 4, 2016 - Chilled on ice before serving. A fair amount of yeast somewhat dominates. Great fruit. Bubbles last to the end.
