May 20, 2019 - Golden-straw color. Lemon-Kumquat citrus and minerals on the nose and palate. Silky with good acidity, balance, and long-slightly tart finish. Minerality really improved with cellar aging. Delicious!

December 1, 2018 - This has all the signs of a great white. Great nose, full of citrus, flowers and stone fruits. On the palate it is ripe, with medium weight and matching acidity. Had I had it by itself, I could've confused it with premier cru Chassagne. We had it next to a Drouhin Folatieres which just knocked it out. Rita's finish is shorter.

February 16, 2016 - Brought to wine group dinner tonight at Two Chefs. Rich and ripe, very balanced flavors. Touch of oak but not overbearing. One of my favorite Cali chardonnays

March 20, 2015 - This wine is awesome. Viscous, full bodied with unreal fruit and hint of spice that completes the wine. Very tightly integrated. Hints of apple pie and pear

October 2, 2014 - This is a delicious Chardonnay and a good step up over the regular Sandhi Chardonnay. Multiple layers of flavor and good acidity.

September 17, 2014 - This was excellent. Pure Chardonnay fruit with a kiss of oak. Long on the finish.

August 29, 2014 - Enjoyed a bottle at Michael Mina, paired very well with the black cod and lobster pot pie entrees. Honey and apple on the palate with a very light touch of oak.

June 29, 2014 - From memory over dinner last night, and I am fairly certain this was the bottling. While I liked the fruit and expression of the wine, as it's in the leaner camp, there was some toasted oak on the aromatic that is also at play. I'm coming pretty close to the place where I am really well anchored into the chardonnay camp where the wine is done in some kind of vessel that eliminates the oak signature--concrete, old wood, whatever it may be. I liked this wine but take my comment about the toasted note into context.
