December 19, 2022 - Followed the 2005 Schramsberg Reserve. While not at the same level, it wasn't as far off as I expected. The color was bold and deep, the nose also with apple compote, lemony acid, brioche and mild oxidative flavors.

December 31, 2020 - These are so dependable. Rich fruit available out of the gate. The apple compote here is so flavorful and deep. Wish I could find more of these. The local shop here is now carrying 2017 as the oldest vintage.

May 29, 2020 - Still drinking great, with lovely baked pastry, vanilla and apple notes. A little less lemon acid than the last bottle, hence 1 fewer point.

April 25, 2020 - Pours a pale 10k gold. Nice mousse but sparse bubble action in glass. Nose is gorgeous, baked lemon meringue pie, slight pear and guava. Palate is luscious, lemon, pineapple juice, honey, vanilla. Acid is medium high, and sings with food (lemon tilapia), also cuts any of the sweetness and leads to 15 second finish. Ending reminds me of cotton candy aftertaste/fragrant light caramel.

April 12, 2020 - Really enjoyed drinking this. Round and fruity with balance, meaning not too acidic to me. If this is really still around for around $40/btl, it's the champagne deal of the year.

December 31, 2019 - This was so good! Drunk on New Years Eve from a Jeroboam! Such a brilliant format for traditional method sparkling wine. I’ve had this before but this time the flavours were more evolved. There is always quite a green apple flavour on this wine but I found this more of a baked apple note and slightly caramelised / baking spices flavours which were absolutely delicious. If you have this it is drinking brilliantly. Such a well made wine. Fantastic to celebrate the new decade with!

December 31, 2018 - This was fab! Opened a Jeraboem of this on NYE and was brilliant. Absolutely singing. Fresh apples with some citrus and a touch of toastiness. Great body. Was a hit and great fun too from such a huge bottle
