August 5, 2017 - Drinking really well right now. More on the acid-driven side of the spectrum, but there's lots of earthy fruit, with no sweetness at all. Absolutely screams "Oregon Pinot". Fans of lush and rich Pinot will probably not like this at all.

May 31, 2013 - very expressive and smokey pinot nose, dark fruit, quite ripe, possibly the most sweet and ripe 2010 oregon pinot tried to date. But fresh and fine.

March 7, 2013 - "Pinot in the City" tasting (Chicago, Ill): Rich, silky, elegant. A delicious wine, and it is still fairly young. Concentrated, layered flavors of dark berries, cherries, spices and earth.

January 16, 2013 - 2 Days in the Valley- Day 1 (Willamette Valley, OR): Nose: Fragrant and straightforward nose with tones of red fruits, strawberries, cherries, and some floral tones. While the tones are very nice, there isn't much depth beneath them.

Taste: Nice medium body with medium acidity. There is a good freshness to the tones of red fruits, plums, strawberries, and cherries. The tones lack a little depth, but are well balanced.

Overall: This was a nice and more straightforward Willamette pinot. It's ready to drink right now and would be a nice compliment for a lot of food.

January 14, 2013 - Bright cherry, potpourri nose. Light-bodied with an easy structure in the mouth. Bright cherry flavors, light savory component. Relaxed tannin with strong but well integrated acids. Simple and delicious.
