February 8, 2016 - Crisp and bright, very much shows the Chardonnay, crisp and brilliant, works it out at $20 or so. The chocolate maker who sold it to Cliquot. The estate borders the Roederer estate in America. The big difference between the two is full malolactic here where as the Roederer is no malolactic.

December 25, 2015 - Too good for mimosas. A little toasty, citrus, rich. Nice value.

November 23, 2015 - Its hard to beat this for the price and overall crowd pleasing qualities. It has rich nicely defined fruit but stays taught and elegant.

(NV Scharffenberger Brut Excellence Mendocino County) Aptly named, this excellent, well priced sparkler brings abundant notes of brioche, apple, and creamy spices. It’s tart with abundant spice flavors.

(NV Scharffenberger Brut Excellence Mendocino) Appealing aromatics of yeast, lemon, apples, and raspberries. On the palate the wine has a weighted, textured feel with fine grained bubbles. Finishes tart and dry. A superb wine for this price point. 66% Chardonnay, 34% Pinot Noir. 12% alcohol. 1.0% Residual Sugar. 25,000 cases produced.
