May 12, 2014 - Johnny brought this out to Ottimo with me and Chris.
Showed nicely. Spice driven wine with touches of flowers and earth.
The plate was structured and rich - classic Hyde qualities in my experience.
Long finish. Wanted a bit more restraint as a whole but we all enjoyed this wine before the big boys.

March 19, 2014 - there is a satisfying darkness to this pn from the color to the perfume and into the palate, typical Carneros smoke lingers in the background while cherry, red raspberry, ripe plum and chocolate chips carry a velvety palate, balanced acid, strong vineyard character, you can't name another pn that tastes like this, although it draws some petite sirah characteristics...

July 19, 2013 - This is a wine to seek out. It is a star from the Hyde Vineyard with gorgeous red fruit and cherry, luscious, juicy, and a luxurious finish. The balsam undertone is woven throughout. The cooler 2010 vintage shows in the depth of this wine from the longer hanging fruit development. It is still young and could benefit from a few years in bottle.

June 27, 2013 - WCC California Pinot Noir Blind Tasting II (Milestone Restaurant, Glenmont, NY): Bright red and black fruit. Young. Nice tannins. Thick and juicy. Needs a few years. 88-90 points.

May 3, 2013 - This was a lovely wine with layers of mulled cherry cider, beet root, blueberry, earth and truffles. A great streak of acidity ran through it like a spine, giving it wonderful poise and posture.
