September 3, 2020 - Medium to Full body with hints of oak character and mineral with some black fruit. The fruit is less obvious as it has matured and past its prime. Still drinkable though. 88-89.

Update - opened my last bottle Oct 2022 - still good to drink. Nice smooth mouth coating tannins with a short length. Easy drinking wine now to drink by itself.

    August 10, 2013 - I think it was better the 2nd and 3rd day than the 1st.

March 9, 2013 - The "I Must Know What I'm Talking About Review:" The wine looks Ruby colored. The legs are Medium. It smells like Blackberry, Cranberry, and Blueberry. It tastes like Blackberry, and Blueberry. The body is Medium/Full. The wine has Fleshy texture. The wine finishes Medium. 90 Points.

The "I Don't Know What I'm Talking About Review:" A strong wine for those who like their wine strong. Most will want to eat hearty with this wine rather than experiencing it on it's own. I have done both. However, I admit to swallowing a little quicker than normal. First thing I noticed after the strength of this wine, fruitiness, but dark fruitiness. blackberry and black current are the most noticeable, but there is a refreshing hint of blueberry. I held onto this hint of blueberry at the times when the bitterness almost overwhelmed me. It was quite dramatic. Finally, this wine has a very long aftertaste (almost a minute it seems to me.) Very nice indeed. For a strong wine with a hearty meal this bottle gets 4.5 out of 5 stars

February 7, 2013 - Dark, medium to full bodied and great QPR. Complex yet smooth on the palate and lengthy finish. Wonderful wih many selections. Tonight was pork endear loin with a reduced balsamic glaze. I'll be back for more.
