  May 1, 2016 - I disagree with the most recent reviews of this wine. The wine is old but it needs time on the decanter before it can open up. I decanted it and tasted it every hour, on the third hour it came around with depth, fruit and nuance. It was good although a bit acidic. Drink now as it will not improve over time.

  August 9, 2013 - This has held up fairly well--complex nose of blackberry and menthol. But somewhat astringent on the palate, has lost some body. I think this was probably a terrific wine, a few years past prime.
