January 4, 2014 - Poisonning nose, animal, meaty, roasted cherries, ... beautiful red fruit and sappy acidity

August 10, 2013 - Deep dark-red, velvet. Intense, vibrant and deep!
Aromas of dark ripe Berries; mostly Blackberry and Cassis.
Earth, Black Tea, Dark Chocolate and Tar.
Little Floral characters come with some Sweetness, Eucalypt and Oak.
Comforting, soft and inviting!
Beautifully integrated with fascinating secondary characteristics.
Decent Fruit flavors- mostly Dark Berries- with Fruit in Rum.
Earthiness, Tobacco, Dark Chocolate and Leather.
Finishes long with vivid acidity, round tannins, some fruit and little spiciness.
Nice texture and mouthfeel. Great proportions and complexity!
A full-bodied, delicious and wonderful wine that really fits!
Great sophisticated complexity, harmony, concentration and balance.
Rich, but filigree aromas and flavors.
Should be good for some more years of careful cellaring, but drinks beautifully now.

June 29, 2013 - Excellent. Subtle earthiness and still powerful fruit. Amazing how this wine has changed over the years. Going strong with years of life ahead of it. Delicious
December 3, 2012 - The best of the three bottles I have had of this. (The first, which was a fruitless mixture of iodine and leather, was I think faulty.) Not like a Cote-Rotie, pace the winemaker's notes, but enjoyable in itself as a fully mature, full throttle Australian Shiraz.

November 3, 2012 - Definitely better than the previous bottles. Fully mature, delicious, still fresh and vibrant. Dark ruby, Strong nose, with spices, kirsch, plums, strawberry and hints of eucalyptus. Full bodied, good finish. Well stored bottles like this one will last 5-10 more years.
