1997 Clarendon Hills Shiraz Liandra
- South Australia
Community Tasting Notes 27
September 1, 2015 - Blueberry and raspberry, very concentrated, still going
May 17, 2015 - Nose of dark fruits, cedar, some tobacco.
Right into the mouth there's something weird and off putting.
Is this sweet? Just too much fruit and chocolate, with the jam being a tad too ripe. Hard work...

March 20, 2015 - From Magnum. Showed well over 4 hours. Smooth with overripe and slightly jammy black and blue fruits. But more than just a fruit bomb. Some cassis, tobacco, leather, sweet Oak and hints of spice.

February 27, 2015 - It’s been nearly six years since the last bottle of this wine and I wonder if it has been too long. No that the wine is dying but this is still a sweet fruit driven wine and I was hoping for little more complexity and more acidity. This bottle did not show me the complexity others seem to be finding.1 person found this helpful Comment
