2011 Château Lanessan
Red Bordeaux Blend

December 15, 2014 - No aromatic bomb, but very elegant and refined. Some cherries, and great nuances of earth tones and leather. I would say this vintage is underestimated after the fantastic 2009 and 2010.

August 22, 2014 - The 2011 Chateau Lanessan is evidence that in a poor vintage, the entry level red Bordeaux are not worth buying at any price. It manages to be watery and somewhat bitter at the same time. It is drinkable, but not something one would serve to a guest. Best used for cooking.

April 8, 2012 - From 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 36% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot, the wine will be aged in 33% new oak. This wine is lightly colored, medium bodied, and ends with fresh cranberry flavors. 86-88 Pts
