July 13, 2014 - Wow! This bottling Delivers huge! Probably the best K Syrah I've tasted, to include the Royal bottling, which I've found an incredible experience, but over the top. This bottling is much more along the lines of a Cayuse, with miles of meaty, tangy- dark berry fruit, and spice. It's the layers and depth of this bottle that are truly impressive. If available, then highly recommended.

June 28, 2014 - Probably the best K I've had to date (and I've tried the '06 royal city). Perfect balance of fruit, earth, and a touch of meat. The word sleek comes to mind. Bravo!
April 27, 2013 - Purple color with a very perfumed nose with floral notes, dark fruit, and sweet spices. Lovely palate with good balance, refined tannin, nice acidity, and lovely flavors. Full flavored, but well balanced syrah. Excellent.

March 23, 2013 - Really enjoyed this bottle. Loads of fruit on the nose. Pallette was very well balanced. Drinking surprisingly well for a young wine, but that's usually the way with K.

January 11, 2013 - Based on others that have made comments, I'm hoping this bottle was the exception. Decanted for 2 hours. Rather lite on weight and taste. Unique with traditional US Syrahs, but still lite.
