June 29, 2013 - Nice and funky, with great mouthfeel, although a bit less rich than the 2009 we enjoyed a week ago. Blackberry, earth, leather...great stuff!

May 18, 2013 - Peppery blue fruit, campfire dark earth and wood. Surprisingly not "drank"y on the palate, good acids, light tannin. Ends a little short, not balanced or completely integrated currently. Still a nice beverage, good flavors, body and acids.

October 3, 2012 - Complex aromas of dark fruits, scorched earth, mesquite, peppered beef, soy sauce, spices and earthy minerals. Full-bodied, yet fresh and racy. Very solid, but could use a bit of time to settle in. 100% Syrah. (Best 2013-2018)

September 1, 2012 - Needed 20-30 minutes to loosen up, but provided a nice match for our group's diverse lunch choices.
