August 31, 2013 - This wine seems a shade darker than previous vintages, suggesting more body. Great aromatics out of the gate with nice complexity. Lemons, peaches, pineapple and white flowers with the faintest hints of vanilla oak and butterscotch. Great acidity on the palate with a slight richness to it, all while maintaining a clean and refreshing mouth feel through to the finish. This is a very versatile wine, and probably my favorite vintage of it.
