November 9, 2015 - Solid, resolved. Enjoyable, but drink up.

January 18, 2015 - Still lively, but perhaps a touch past peak. Violet and leather on the nose. Stewed fruits and a splash of dark berry on the palate with a short finish

October 3, 2012 - Quite youthful dark ruby color. Wild sun kissed aromas of olives and prunes. Its not just the name of the vineyard, this has an unmistakable olive paste component. Excellent balance and a nicely made wine. Some cigar and tobacco. This is drinking great right now. I might have to go on a 1994 California Cab kick. I paid $16 at a Zachys online auction auction and love it at that price and would gladly take much more. Interesting that the 1995 comes across as sweeter. The original retail was around $40. My grade reflects my price.

August 19, 2012 - A whole bunch of Wines (mostly Sonoma) with friends (Chris and Renee's): Ruby but a bit dull in color. The nose has tobacco, cedar, spice and also a bit of cassis left. Medium bodied. There is some cassis fruit left here, but obviously mature. Nice wine, but needs to be drunk. What a great year 94 was. As time goes by, it proves to be the standout vintage for the 90's.
