December 1, 2016 - Ripe, honeyed fruit with a subtle complexity of biscuit and yeast. Good flavours; fresh and lengthy.

November 27, 2016 - Tastes like the real stuff - more like a true Champagne than most AV sparklers. I agree with the advice to buy these and hold for a year or two. Develops a nice white-bread-toast quality in the bottle. Very nice.

November 27, 2016 - I tend to lay this wine down for 18 months or so, as I find it does improve and become more -like. These bottles had languished longer than intended, one purchased 10/2009 and the other 12/2009. The former was stunning, an intoxicating, vibrant nose, small bubbles, yeasty on the palate, with just a hint of oxidation playing a counterpoint to the wine. The nose on the latter bottle was similar to that on the first, on the palate, this wine was less fresh, and showed more oxidative notes. By no means over the hill, but less compelling than the other bottle bottle 1: 93 pts bottle 2: 89-90 pts

November 24, 2016 - Purity and vigor abound. Fresh aromas of stonefruit, citrus, minerals, and a whiff of sea breeze. In the mouth, this is sleek, bright, and youthful, with vivid and focused flavors that play well off of a lively bead, snappy acidity, and a crisp finish. Delicious and refreshing.

(NV Roederer Estate Brut Anderson Valley) A very pretty aroma profile speckled with oak spices and lemon curd. The palate is lighter in style, fruit filled with abundant barrel spices.

(NV Roederer Estate Brut Sparkling Wine Anderson Valley) From the moment you pop the cork, you can smell this aromatic sparker which is woven with fresh baked bread notes, yeast, pear, and spices. The oak ageing here provides the palate with a bit of extra richness and depth leading to a lingering finish. An outstanding sparkling wine at this price.
