April 22, 2022 - Great wine! Juice is humming right now. Mellowed zin, blueberry/dark fruit, slight spice, velvet. You can drink this without food. Terrific!!

May 18, 2015 - Beautiful bouquet on the nose of mixed berries and oak aromas. Jammy on the palate with medium finish. Not quite as velvety smooth as the 2009 but still an excellent Zin typical of Storybook.
January 29, 2015 - Nice concentration carrying 14,8% alcohol elegantly. Complex and balanced for a zin. Showing nice aged aromas.
June 19, 2014 - No formal notes; fruity, spicy, very good with barbecue and friends
April 1, 2014 - Almost purple. Black and blue berries and spicy oak on the nose; jammy blue and black fruit on the palate. Medium bodied with a short finish. More fruit forward than its Dry Creek cousins, but no less satisfying. Nice with a bowl of pasta.
March 28, 2014 - Still needs some time. Will try another bottle in 2015.
January 12, 2014 - Very impressive for a Zinfandel. It's got some blackberry and cassis. There's a great white pepper which balances the fruit flavor. Drinking well now. Opened it up and drank over the course of a few hours. Some evolution in the glass for the first thirty minutes, but seemed to flat line after that. Pretty good wine.

September 4, 2013 - Tasted at winery. Dark and brooding. Intense aroma. A little hot, with subtle fruit. Moderate to long finish.
