September 23, 2022 - This was a beautiful light amber color, shiny and translucent. Cork was perfect proving this was stored perfectly. On the nose, a bit of menthol and medicinal upon popping but after just 15-20 mins of air this turned into plums, tar, leather. On the palate, the early alcoholic and menthol notes quickly turned sweet dried fruity notes, with leather and earthiness! This was beautiful but the tannins never resolved. They just might not whcih kept this from being utterly stunning and perfect. Still a beautiful wine!!

February 15, 2015 - Some wet wool aromas in the beginning. Was unfortunately tasted alongside the Giacosa Falletto and fell through here. Nice nebbiolo aromas, with forest floor and tar etc. A bit rustique, - and extracted?

May 16, 2008 - A good Barolo. Fine nose, with hints of tea. Starting to develop secondary aromas. A good and sweet and sour taste. Nice acidity and round tannins.
