  April 3, 2017 - This wine has come a long way since my last taste in 2013. Here I found a bouquet of honey dew melon, yellow flowers, lime zest, crushed stone and hints of petrol. On the palate, a zesty display of lemon-infused green apple, young pineapple and savory herbs saturated the senses, while its brisk acidity left the mouth watering. It finished wonderfully fresh with a lasting zing of pineapple and minerals.

  May 31, 2013 - Deep straw, hint of spritz; wet pebbles, hints of freesia & peach on a low key nose; starts off dry, latent refreshing acidity, stoney, vivacious mouth feel, greengage, ; a refined, splendid, extended finish. Best with an hours+ breathing. I suspect this will deceptively age well.

  January 20, 2013 - The nose was clean, coming more to life as the wine warmed in the glass, showing nectarine, spicy floral notes, minerals, and almond skins. On the palate, it was crisp with ripe, yet focused peach and inner floral tones. A note of grapefruit and green apple lingered through the finish.
  
  This being my first experience with a Riesling from Piedmont, I will say that I was very impressed. It may not be a blockbuster but it certainly showed a lot of potential. The style was more Alsace than Germany and great with a plate of mixed Wurst and Sauerkraut.

  January 5, 2013 - Clear and lite in the glass. Closed nose of terpene, citrus, apple and stone fruit. Lite body and off-dry with tropical fruit, apple, steely and slate minerals and stone fruit on the palate. Very pleasing balance and focus. Just a touch of cashew texture. Short finish. Unique and great with food.

  Utveckling: Utvecklat, trots vad som jag tror står på etiketten om att vänta till i vår.

  Torrt/sött: Torrt, aning restsötma.
  Syra: Medel+ Något stickig syra, typ supersurisar

  Alkohol: Låg till medel (13,5 procent!)
  Fyllighet: Medel+
  Smakstyrka: Medel
  Smak: Frukt - citrus - pressad citron, pressad lime. Tropisk frukt - lychee.
  Textur/balans/bubblighet: Något hal.

  Kvalitet: bra
  Drickabilitet: går att dricka nu men kan lagras
  Geografi: Italien, barolo
  Pris: dyrt 121–300
  Den stickiga syran stör. Men doften är väldigt trevlig, nästan insmickrande. Känner inte mycket av etikettens mineralitet.
  Lagra ett år för att syran ska lugna sig?
