May 27, 2014 - Interesting wine, but almost unrecognizable as pinot noir because of excessive ripeness. Not exactly my cup of teas. Thankfully, I think this producer has moderated their style in subsequent years.

April 12, 2013 - Fantastic Pinot. Very smooth with a long lasting finish. Zotovich is a little known gem in the santa Rita hills region.

November 21, 2012 - - Purple color and aromas of violet and cherry. It's balanced and has flavours of strawberry, cherry and prune with a medium/full body. Fleshy texture with a long finish.

January 21, 2012 - On day 1, this was a big beast. LC got vanillin and I noted the coconut from the oak treatment. Very dark in the glass, with dark red raspberry fruit. A bit ponderous. On day 2, this had opened up, showing more of the SRH red cola that I like a lot. This definitely needs a double decant and air time or a couple more years in bottle to better show itself. When I tasted this in the tasting room I had been blown away. Now, I don't know what to think.

March 5, 2011 - Give this one another 1-2 years to compose itself. It has all the sins of excellence, but is still adolescent. Juicy bramble fruits, noticeable bright acidity, yet not our of check or balance, very clean finish.
