June 15, 2014 - Not one of the lighter roses since Syrah. Definite strawberries with medium finish.

June 11, 2014 - Tart. Strawberries and cherries. Lemon peel. Not my favorite.

May 10, 2012 - Simple Hedonisms Rosé Panel; 5/1/2012-8/5/2012: An excellent move forward in quality and profile in the new Amista syrah Rosé. Perhaps influence of new winemaker/consultant Ashley but w/e the reason clearly an evolution.
No tech notes on website, the darker color might lead one to wonder if a saignée, but the 13% alc and acidity and profile come across like a true Rosé.

The color a clear, vibrant dark pink to light red.
The nose is aromatic - ripe stawberry, tangy watermelon, mixed with slight floral undertone. One can leave their nose buried happily in the glass.
In the mouth it shows strawberry, hints of cherry and other red fruit, with other subtle complex layers. It has a excellent mouthfeel,
    and a wonderful mouthwatering finish.
It would pair well with most summer fare, but goes down easily solo as one enjoys a summers night.
Well done, recommended buy, 90 points.
