June 15, 2013 - This Syrah fills the head with tobacco leaf and berry bomb richness. The spicey minerality balances it out nicely, making it a great food wine. A few more years chained up in the dungeon will give this wine an opportunity to blossom into something very special.

March 24, 2013 - This is a very densely colored, opaque, wine with inky purple color. The smells are blackberry, pepper, eucalyptus, tar, blueberry, and subtle peppery spice. The tastes are blueberry, blackberry, chocolate, coffee, and spicy notes. The tannins are woody but fine grained and the acidity is notable. The finish is nice and lengthy.

September 23, 2012 - After opening a sub par Chilean pinot noir this showed that much better. Blackberry is dominate with a just a hint of cinnamon. Lengthy satisfying finish.
