February 13, 2021 - Cork broke so I won’t rate it. Faded a little fast but was enjoyable with hints of greatness upfront.

December 13, 2019 - Cloudy, deep garnet with some rim browning. Graphite, strawberry, toast. High acids, low tannins. Anise. Short balanced finish. Acorn dinner.

September 28, 2016 - Last part of cork broke off. Poured into decanter and drank over 1.5 hours. At Chateau Davyd.
Appearance is clear, medium intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of vanilla, earth, dark red cherries, bluberries, hints of gamey meats, floral violets.
on the palate, dry, high acidity, high alcohol (14.5%) that's well hidden, fine velvety medium tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of vanilla, earth, cola, blueberries, black cherries, plummy red cherries, exotic perfumed spices. Long finish.
Very good quality. Better with more air in the decanter. Definitely not in the category of elegant Pinots, this is more of a blockbuster style. Loads of fruit that balances and obscures the high alcohol. Already developed tertiary earth characteristics. Probably at peak already. Drink up soon.

May 18, 2016 - Some funk on the nose. Medium color. Darker, earthy flavors. Enjoyable now but still could go another couple years.
