  December 13, 2019 - Open aromatics of cherry cola, mint, cherry liqueur, and seasoned oak. Palate is soft, approachable, and straight forward showing blackberry and tangy cherry.

  March 17, 2019 - Even though it was way past the suggested drinking window, I found it to be pleasantly complex and mellow - ripe fruits up front and a smooth finish.

  May 15, 2018 - Not a fan of this oddball "zin blend" from Lytton Springs in Healdsburg. The nose has some interesting spice and pepper but on the palate it tastes disjointed and out of balance. It's one of the few bottlings from Ridge that I've turned my nose up to, and I'm disappointed by that, but be as it may, this wine needs a lot of help to get out of the weeds.

  August 21, 2017 - Grapey blue fruit, black raspberry and hnts of white pepper. The palate follows the bouquet. Soft and velvety with a nice finish. Ready to go.
