February 12, 2017 - This was better than I remember from prior and was quite lovely; the nose is filled with sauvage, smoke, bing cherry, cranberry, minerality, and hints of damp leaf. The palate is fresh and filled with red fruits and gamy, smoke notes. It has lovely energy and balance. Delicious with steelhead. Based on this performance I will likely look to stock a little more of this in the cellar from now on.

April 10, 2015 - Red fruits, earthy, dank fruit skins. Red fruit becoming darker in the mouth. Chalky. Seems more structured than Eyrie's Pinot noir. Elegant.

January 5, 2015 - The Dundee funk combined with the meunier spice takes over the nose. Extremely well balanced wine with the expected hints of strawberry. Light and delicate with a backbone.

May 20, 2014 - This is an intriguing and different wine. First time I've had a non-sparkling meunier. The nose is fascinating with lots of smoky, sauvage, and gamey notes with underlying tart red cherry and flint. With air the cherry broadens and the sauvage starts to fade. The palate is really bright with acidity and tart cherry with some underlying earth. Finishes a little short with the acid dominating. Overall this is good to drink and very different. If served with a richer dish that will mellow the acid I think this would be outstanding. I had a glass with some rich and meaty rillettes de canard that was delicious. Didn't pair so well with a tomato based pasta dish for glass 2. Definitely worth trying if you can find it.
